Normie social events just seem like an excuse to drink in a group rather than alone. Alcohol is always the focus, above food and discussion. Spark up a spliff or a line of coke and people would be horrified but indulge in a state approved drug and it's all good.
See this is why I always make a habit of drinking alone, so I’m prepared to take it easy in a group setting💯😂
