Actually no. Snort allows you to delete your posts. Apparently there’s a NIPs for that. https://snort.social/

Looks like compliance with a deletion request is optional on the part of the relays, which is fine, but does imply that a Nostr note is forever in some sense.

I think only the first NIP is mandatory.
