I come from podcasting 2.0 world where #[6] created v4v with John C Dvorak. #[2] and Adam at some point pretty recently created a polished doc explaining it quite recently. I have 0 issues with calling zaps “zaps” - I think it’s cool. But value for value describes very well what is going on. Long story short .. I was making a poor attempt at a joke. I’m all for calling zaps and such v4v because it describes perfectly what’s going on .. someone is providing value in the form of content ( a note ) and someone else is providing value back in the form of zaps. Just my two sats and people can do and say whatever they want of course but I think most people who dismiss the v4v philosophy really don’t understand it for one thing.
Yeah I think value 4 value describes a much larger phenomena than zaps. I have no real problem with v4v at all.
