If I know it correctly, coffee has 2 ingredients in it, that cases 2 different effect.

One is absorbed immediately, that cases you to be a bit sleepy, therefore, it can help you fall a sleep.

The second absorbed in 20-30 minutes, which will wake you up.

Therefore, coffee is nice for power naps. You drink a cup, you go for a sleep for 20 to 30 minutes, and when you wake up, the coffee just hit in, and you will be energized.

But of course no cup of coffee can replace a nice sleeping schedule.
