I've lost count of the number of times I've seen Tulip Mania invoked to trash Bitcoin, so it was pretty galling to learn, via Hoppe's "Democracy: The God That Failed" that the bubble was fuelled by - you guessed it - the inflation of the money supply.

Almost as galling in fact as all that commentary back in the NFT era which suggested the retarded spectacle of people throwing money at dumb monkey JPEGs was somehow a problem of cryptocurrencies themselves and not a by-product of unprecedented levels of money printing.
