It's not the same no, another category of coffee like instant coffee, coffee from do-it-all machines, electric brewer etc.

There's a time and place for decaf, do you know of a good tip to brew it the best?

I did a simple pour over, 36g very finely ground dark roast, 500g water at 96°C, no bloom, "long" initial steep time/immersion brew.

Turned out good, but could be better. I'm lacking a proper punch, thinking about adding something to the coffee but I have no idea what I'm doing.

I would mix it with a pinch of instant coffee, very little, that’s how I leave the coffees of Europe with a taste of Brazilian coffee!

Hmm ok. But adding caffeine back is not an option hehe. Wondering if salt could give it a punch or even a little orange/lemon.... hmmm

You are making everything very difficult! 😅

I’ll think about it!

Opt for the darker and roasted grain to help with the taste and you can add:

Cinnamon: Cinnamon is a natural stimulant that can help improve mood and focus.

Nutmeg: Nutmeg is another stimulating spice that can help improve concentration.

Ginger: Ginger is a thermogenic that can help speed up metabolism and increase energy.

If you choose cinnamon, pay attention! Pregnant or period women cannot consume!

I just thought about guarana powder... I’ve never tested it! Guarana gives a relatively similar energy!

My brother exchanged the coffee for barley powder, I personally didn’t like it!

It is not made like coffee, the way of preparation would be like a hot tea...

Another option is nespresso espresso in capsule, they say it tastes best!

Oooh, totally forgot about spices. And Christmas is coming up, could play around with that!

Thanks
