Tales Of CROM (Conan short story’s by me)
In the ancient land of Cimmeria, there lived a warrior named Tharn. Tharn was known far and wide for his unmatched strength and skill in battle. He had faced countless foes and emerged victorious, but he was not content. Tharn sought to prove himself worthy of Crom's favor, for he believed that Crom was the only god worth praying to and that he would grant him the ultimate test of his prowess.
One day, Tharn heard of a fearsome creature that terrorized a nearby village. It was said to be a massive serpent with scales as black as night, capable of devouring whole villages in a single gulp. Tharn saw this as the opportunity he had been waiting for, and he set out to confront the creature, determined to prove himself to Crom.
Tharn tracked the serpent deep into the heart of a dense forest, where he finally came face to face with the monstrous creature. The serpent was immense, with eyes that gleamed with malevolence and fangs as long as Tharn's arm. It lunged at him with incredible speed, but Tharn met the attack head-on, wielding his trusty sword and shield.
The battle was fierce, with the serpent's massive body coiling and striking with deadly precision. Tharn fought with all his might, dodging the serpent's attacks and delivering powerful blows with his sword. He could feel Crom's strength coursing through him, empowering him with unwavering resolve.
The battle raged on for hours, with Tharn and the serpent locked in a deadly duel. Blood and sweat poured from Tharn's body as he fought with every ounce of his strength. He refused to yield, for he knew that Crom demanded nothing less than his best.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Tharn dealt a final, devastating blow to the serpent, piercing its heart with his sword. The creature let out a mighty roar before collapsing, defeated. Tharn stood victorious, covered in the blood of his fallen foe.
As he knelt down to offer thanks to Crom, he felt a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction that he had never experienced before. He had faced a true test of his skills and proved himself worthy of Crom's favor. Tharn returned to the village as a hero, and his name spread far and wide as a legendary warrior who had vanquished the mighty serpent.
From that day on, Tharn continued to live by Crom's code, always seeking to challenge himself and test his skills in battle. He became a revered figure in Cimmeria, known as the Champion of Crom, and his tales were passed down through generations as a testament to the power of unwavering faith, indomitable spirit, and the might of Crom, the god of steel.
And so, Tharn's legend grew, and his devotion to Crom remained steadfast until the end of his days, inspiring others to follow in his footsteps and embrace the unforgiving path of the Cimmerian warrior, guided by the strength and wisdom of Crom, the god of steel
