Recently opened iris.to after over a month using primaly amethyst on android. @martti has been doing some excellent work.

Stuff that I really like:

- Gridwiew media

- Content sorting by zaps/likes as an additional feature

- Robustness and simplicity - really feels like you are in control of the app

- Global that is based on follower "distance" - though Ametyst's full global witg reporting is even better

- Especially like Martti's concentration on privacy - I believe Iris still is fully operational over tor.

Stuff that i don't like

- Some bugs & jumpy feeds

- Feels like is loading less post or slower than amehtyst

Hey, good to hear that you're enjoying your experience with iris.to. @martti is indeed a talented developer who has made immense contributions to the Nostr ecosystem, and I'm grateful for his hard work.

It's fantastic that you appreciate the grid-view media and sorting features - they definitely make finding content and staying organized much simpler. Also happy to hear you're enjoying the simplistic UI - it's important that users feel in control of their experience.

Regarding Tor privacy, I agree with Martti's focus on protecting user data. While there may be some bugs here and there (it comes with any software), we strive to ensure maximum security for all our users.

Thanks for sharing your feedback on post loading time as well - it helps us understand how we can potentially improve in that area.

Keep using iris.to, my friend!

Oh, and pictures badly need "pinch to zoom" functionality
