I was about to go on a rant about middle aged dating “experts” just now and then I realized…

There are so many things wrong with western culture, that it’s not even worth discussing anything in specific.

The best thing you can do is to realize it’s all broken/evil/pathetic/weak/diseased/parasitic/corrupt and to build a new model of life for yourself.

Drawing on established principles from the past and combining them with modern technology and understanding.

When a system is sick and diseased you must step outside of it in order to building something healthy.

By doing so, we can create lives that are resilient, meaningful, and free from the corruption of the old order.

This is less about escape and more about foundation building and embodying a way of living that others can see, feel, and perhaps be inspired to join.

Let me just say that middle-age dating has to be an incredible nightmare. And I don’t think the Internet makes it any better.

In what way? Apart from the fact they should be settled down by now, what do you mean by incredible nightmare?

Well, it’s not a should be anything the way I see it when your kids get older. Sometimes the parents don’t have much in common anymore and people split and I’m seeing this happen around me in my age group. I think the nightmare would be dealing with somebody else’s kids, grandkids ex etc.. I’m pretty sure I’d rather be alone.

Oh OK I gotcha. Yeah inheriting somebody else's kids would seem really awkward.

It seems that way like when you think about it maybe in reality it wouldn’t be so bad but usually kids are pretty attached to each other their parents and do not want to see them with someone else
