If AI works out.. the climate will be fine. (It’ll clean up all our crap).

If AI doesn’t work out.. the climate will be irrelevant.

(A bit like worrying about drought at the start of a flood).

The AI race will dress up as climate measures, be excused as national security and only hurt our odds.
