There has never been free speech on any centralized platform.
It existed on a spectrum.
I thought that Elon was gonna keep it mostly free speech
Any infringement on speech (including repressing reach of certain topics / users / or words) violates free speech. In my opinion any infringement on free speech invalidates the free speech doctrine. All centralized platforms do this.
As you can imagine, though, there are incentives that prevent this from actually occurring.
True free speech would mean allowing everyone on the political spectrum, including diehard communists and neo Nazis to post freely.
Advertisers don’t wanna get in hot water with their sensitive customers so they demand some form of censorship , and even this limited style of censorship, starts to grow and grow overtime until it is basically back to the mean of extreme censorship

You need to have open algos & the user choice. Anything else is a non-starter.
