Watched The Revenant (2015), a thriller directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. Set in the 1820s America, we follow a hunter who gets mauled by a bear and left for dead by his team. He battles the brutal weather and dangerous terrain to survive. He tracks the man who betrayed him in order to get vengeance. The film was shot with a large format digital cinema camera with a 65mm digital sensor. The movie looks beautiful. The quality of the image is incredible. Doesn’t seem dated. Except for the bear. Doesn’t look that realistic. Everything the main character survives seems almost impossible. The casting is excellent. The acting as well. The score is beautiful. Definitely entertaining. 7.9/10 #nodereviews

Good movie.

Yes. Entertaining

The single long take of the natives attacking the trappers who try an escape to their boats is cinematic greatness!

Yes. Almost feels like you’re in it with them. Incredible

To pull off that amount of coordination for so long is crazy. Think of doing 5 takes of that. Like how do you even get a team of people to accomplish it?

I imagine you practice it a whole lot

The guy who has to get drowned in the river all day for no credits lol 🤣

This is him all day 😂

Haven’t seen this one and I didn’t realise it was the same director!

Now that I know that I’ll definitely watch it.

Thanks 💜

That’s cool! A new one to watch. There’s also Bardo left on my list. Not sure if you’ve seen that one. It’s his latest one

No! I haven’t seen it. I’ll be interested to hear your thoughts though.

Very soonâ„¢ friend.
