Seems that people forget what encryption means. I don't love that it is hosted on aws but does it really matter that much?

But if you’ve never compared the key fingerprints, or are on an app that is using the Signal Protocol but doesn’t allow you to compare keys, then there is no guarantee that you’re actually communicating with E2E encryption.
