This was a great rip.
I’m not of a huge fan of AI. Primarily because the people doing the majority of the development are technocrats who will use it to do evil. This podcast seems to illustrate that.
However, it seems rooting for its advancement is a losing strategy.
Elon and Trump leveraging AI to highlight all of this corruption may be one of the first times these models have been used for massive good. All tech is neutral, it’s just in how you use it. I’m hopeful for what could come of all this, but I don’t trust Elon or Trump. However, this stuff getting exposed is far better than doing nothing.
