FreeSpeech.casa Update

This is an advanced notice that I will be shutting down the relay currently hosted on freespeech.casa. If you are currently storing notes on this relay I recommend rebroadcasting them to another relay to ensure you can keep them active. You can do this using a tool like nostr-broadcast.

I will be relaunching this relay under a new subdomain but I don't have the map outlined yet. I will also be attempting to rebroadcast any notes I've stored for whitelisted users that I've setup on the server but I wanted to give the notice above for anyone who may have events stored here while my whitelist wasn't setup.

Is there a tutorial out there showing how to rebroadcast notes?

Simplest explanation

1.) Visit https://nostr-broadcast.pages.dev/

2.) If you have a NIP-07 extension you can click 'get from extension' otherwise paste your PUBLIC key (npub) into the box.

3.) Click 'Fetch and broadcast' and wait while it finds your notes and broadcasts them.

Advanced

If you want to use your own list of relays:

1.) Save site or clone repo

2.) Edit js/relays.js

3.) Open index.html with a browser and follow the steps above. It will now use your defined list of relays you want things to go to.

Please rebroadcast any notes you have stored on FreeSpeech.casa today. I will be taking it down soon and replacing with a new relay. I won't be migrating notes.
