I've put in 80-100 hour weeks educating myself and and trying and failing and trying and failing some more. Today I finished building out my own cloud management platform and PaaS on top of that.

It's been rough, and the thought of quitting and taking a simpler approach crossed my mind more than once. But the feeling I got watching everything come up successfully today made every headache, late night and missed gym session worth it.
