The media defines our realities. 😞
For me it's more like this: People who OWN (social) media want us to believe that there is no escape, that media determines our reality; and that their attempts at manipulation penetrate our systems without a way out. That's not the case. WE know that.
I agree!! I think we sayin the same thing; a media controlled by the corporations defines our current reality of a world ran by corporations (doom and gloom, no way out, reducing people to bodies to profit off of)
vs
media controlled by the people (i.e. open protocols like nostr) can define a better world that empowers us with knowledge, algorithms, sovereignty, and truths that will help us take back power from those corporations
