If it's unbiased, it's not gross. It's the same as corporatism vs capitalism. A clean unbiased algo can be really beneficial for discovery and content selection, but keeping it clean is impossible if there's money to be made/influence be had.

Hope we can get them algos here as well, and by the nature of nostr any algo can be opted out, so the incentives are way better aligned here.
