What if you have a burning desire to be content? Or, if you are content with burning desires?

I feel like lots of people have a desire to be content and they're not and that's why they're unhappy

I'm pretty content but strive for more that I desire for my family. We live a simple and free life and we are pretty happy

That's good man you'll get there improvements always great

Too many facets for an answer. What about being content but striving for more? Then you would have to define more of what?

Interesting makes you think

Second.

I feel that

I'm torn, burning desires can make life fun, but I also want the content peaceful life.

If you take the view that being content in all things means you have achieved your burning desires, then that's my pick.

Totally agree that's how I feel

I wouldn't know. Too many burning desires...

What's your top one I guess

Top one changes based on my mood. It regularly changes back to being there or a part of the international team that sees the Kim dynasty in North Korea fall or the integration of North and South Korea. Chances are super low though, so landing a job in research that aids the integration of North and South is a close second 🤷🏽‍♀️ Maybe one day I could nail fluency in Korean so I can read Korean political commentary and interviews in Korean...

I'm aware that I'm pointlessly ambitious. So called 'normal' goals bore me.

With burning desires, of course. Without them, we have no ambition. Without ambition, we have no progression. Without progression, we have no success. Without success, we have no happiness.

That's true I agree. I've had a point where I'm bored with everything so it sucks trying to find some inspiration

Your true nature is happiness.

You don't need any THING to be happy.

But you do need some THING to be sad.
