Unfortunately, current day nostr is too brandwidth hungry to be usable over tor or i2p.

It would be cool to have a low-brandwidth mode/app with just kind-1 text and a smaller feature set. Then we can maybe have proper darknet markets and forums (such as Dread) over nostr.
