I’m bullish on the future because of bitcoin but something has been nagging at me.
Both my parents are about to retire but will be reliant on pensions.

Not well. Hopefully they accumulated assets along with their pension.
It will be painful for them. Fixed income when inflation occurs is messy. Start putting sats away for them yourself would be my suggestion.
Classic lower middle class they have the house they live in and that’s about it.
I gifted everyone in my family some sats but only my mother is interested. Which is better for most in their demographic I suppose.
