Yes! Yeah right after I first got into Bitcoin I rode fiat logic straight to crypto town. After I got rugged I finally understood the importance of self custody, and all the Bitcoin puzzle pieces came together for me. I am no longer chasing the free lunch that fiat promises. I learned there is no free lunch. You can work hard to cause wealth creation and better the world or fall back on the default of wealth destruction. Fiat claims it can intrinsically create wealth, but in reality it is net destructive of wealth.
