Yes. That’s my hobby. I like to train and run endurance long distances a few times a year. Headed out for a 100K in Northern California this week, which will re qualify me for the Western States 100 mile event lottery in 2025. 🙂
Im built like a chipotle burrito. Those distances aren't meant for me. Do you listen to anything?
I usually have some tunes or podcasts on when training. A lot of times on the long one or twice a year events, I zone out and just tune in with the environment. It's interesting to be in your head while figuring out various weird shit that your brain uses to stop you: nutrition, feet issues, chaffing, your own general mindset that wants to shut you down, when you have plenty in the tank.
