Wait, the Amazon rainforest was primarily created by ancient human civilizations? 😳

I know this may sound quite unconventional, but there is some real scientific research supporting this idea.

So its unnatural? Does that make it ok to destroy? 🤷‍♂️

It's not okay to destroy forests, I mean, why would you even say that?

However, it's interesting and fascinating to think that ancient civilizations may have played such a significant role in shaping the Amazon rainforest. I mean, the Amazon rainforest is enormous.

I was being sarcastic. Lol.

Even though I was being sarcastic, for conversation sake, let me ask. Why would it be wrong to cut down the rainforest if it was purposely planted? Do we not do the same with all crops we grow? We plant to destroy so we can use it. We farm aminals to eat. So we both grow crops and raise animals just to destroy for our own purposes. I think us humans are pretty barbaric dont you think?

I must admit, I have a bias towards biodiversity and complex natural ecosystems, I love it 😅 but I am also not a "out of touch" person, I'm aware of my role in their destruction.

We really don't have a great track record 😅

No. It was created by God.

The tribals living there may have learned how to drop seeds at different places and have slightly interfered with the trees distribution.

I don't believe it was just a tribe; I think it was a fully functional, large civilization. We are starting to see evidence of this due to unfortunate deforestation of Amazon rainforest.

There is no unfortunate deforestation.

People who live there take trees down and replace them within the limits of their living grounds.

Some areas are exploited for raw materials by so-called friends countries.

The numbers are made up to look like the agricultural production is to blame.

Just like their private jets.

The mock of a civilization that happened to expand in parts of Amazon were the Aztecs and Maya. Not where we are at, though.

The former were wiped out after centuries of human sacrifices.
