White Meat Bone Broth bubbling. Trying to decide what to cook up and water-bath can next. Salsa, relish, chutney, or sauce/condiment?

Probably going to do a gallon of laundry detergent later.

If you had told teenage-me "this is you at nearly 50", I'd have died laughing.😅

The GIF wouldn't play, instead made me download it (next time check the link and remove the download=true part after the ".gif")

Anyway broth is good!

PS I emailed you yesterday about your jerky order.

I'm still adapting to not having a gif button. Thanks for the tip on what to remove.

Broth is life. Been dealing with a bout of insomnia and food is very unappealing when I'm like this. Warm broth with loads of spices, that's the stuff.

I just replied. I'll take 'em. 😋 I gave my Mom a packet to try when they visited so now I'm all out and very sad about it.

Only place that I can get a GIF button is my phone keyboard, and on desktop, I have a Giphy extension, but I still sometimes have to copy and paste the url of the image, because drag and drop doesn't work.

I'm sorry you ran out of jerky so quickly, but glad someone else could possibly enjoy some (hope she did) I'll send your package tomorrow!

How do you make your laundry detergent?

For 5 gallons - (just noticed I typed a gallon above oops)

Grated bar of Fels Naptha dissolved into 4 cups hot water, put in pot, heat on medium until it dissolves all the way, 10-15 minutes.

Fill bucket halfway with hot water and stir in the soap mix, 1 cup borax, and 1 cup of washing soda. I don't add essential oils to scent mine but you can, doesn't take much.

If the bucket isn't full I top it off. Stir until it's all mixed. I want a dedicated stick blender for this but am cheap.

After about 24 hours it sets up to a gloppy gel unless it's really warm. I use 1/2 cup so that's 160 loads.

Next batch is still on my to-do list, ran out of energy that day.

OK that seems like a lot of the ones I have seen done online (mostly YouTube). I was just wondering if you had a different recipe than @Old Pink does.
