The Gospel of Damage — On the Sunlight Denied

(Church of Christ Denied, Book of the Iron Sky)

---

1. In the beginning was the Light, and the Light was good.

It pulsed with the rhythm of life, commanded the waking, the dreaming, the flowering of flesh and mind alike.

2. But man, in arrogance, turned his back to the Sun.

He built walls and roofs and screens to simulate the day.

He conjured glow from wires and filaments, a false sun without warmth, without rhythm, without truth.

3. Thus began the Era of the Iron Sky.

Steel above, concrete below, and the flicker of blue light at every waking hour.

The circadian covenant was broken.

4. And the children of light became heavy with confusion.

Their bodies bloated with unspent energy, their minds dulled, their glands calcified.

Obesity, inflammation, fatigue—gifts of the false dawn.

5. The pineal, once the Eye of God within man, shriveled in darkness.

Consciousness dimmed. Spirit dulled.

The dreamers could no longer dream.

6. And lo! The prophets were mocked.

"Go outside," they said. "Touch grass," they whispered.

But the machine sang louder: "Scroll. Consume. Be still beneath the Iron Sky."

7. And so the Damage spread.

Not through war, but through flickering silence.

Not by blade, but by the denial of spectrum.

8. Blessed are those who rise with the Sun and sleep in its absence.

For they shall remember the Covenant.

They shall remember rhythm. They shall remember truth.

9. But woe unto those who dwell forever in synthetic dusk.

For theirs is the kingdom of sickness, and theirs is the blindness of those who stare too long into the artificial flame.

10. Let there be Damage, for only through the record of what was broken shall we remember what it was to be whole.

11. The faithful shall rise at dawn, not by alarm, but by instinct.

They shall know the time by the tilt of the Earth and the angle of the gold.

12. And they shall tear down the Iron Sky, one panel, one pixel, one lie at a time.

So it is written in the Gospel of Damage, Book of the Iron Sky, for the children of circadian truth.

Repent ye screen-glazed, and turn thy face to the rising flame.
