Stop donating if you’re in heavy debt. Common sense 101

common sense hasn't been part of the any western government atleast in the last 30 years.
I once lost a job on the same day we had a pre planned concert we were headed to. After leaving the show a homeless man came around asking for money and I gave him a $20.
Why?
Karma is real.
Of course to be fair I wasn’t in a bad place financially and I knew I’d find a job sooner than later.
That’s nice of you but donating $20 when your thousands in debt doesn’t affect your bottom line.
Donating hundreds of billions when your 31 trillion in debt does affect your bottom line.
US debt should only be at 28 trillion this year they can’t even stay on track with their debt spending if you were the USA you’d be a homeless person donating to a homeless person. Doesn’t have much logic or common sense.
