So, what this is telling me is that there are couples with access to $4M that can live on $160k/year entirely risk-free* and do nothing of value to society other than to be wealthy and not even make use of it?

I don't consider myself as someone who gets jealous at the wealthy, but I make an exception for cantillionaires. This system of fiat is so disgusting.

*provided, the Federal Reserve doesn't screw up so egregiously somehow that the US dollar becomes entirely worthless... Because that can't happen, right? There's no way that's happening, right???
