I lined up super early outside a toy store to pre-order a limited Pokémon thing for my big brother but they ran out just as I got to the front of the line. I was right there 😂🙈. Was like a movie. They said ‘alright guys, that’s it!’ and I thought nooooooo. Was soul crushing, and I’m not even sure what I’m pre-ordering. I should have gone at 6am 🤦🏽♀️ which is exactly what I’m going to do in a couple weeks. Got a chance to redeem myself.
Fun fact: some hardcore Pokémon fans push in line and are very aggressive towards each other. Riveting stuff. The rough ones acted and looked as though they live under bridges
The pokemaniacs are an interesting bunch. You should’ve seen the craze it brought over pokemon cards when it first came out in the US. I remember they gave out pokemon toys as part of the kids meal at Burger King. The lines went around the entire parking lot and down the Main Street 😂

I swear the majority of them in line were so sweet and innocent, but then there were ones like this guy - but really aggressive. I’m all for passion, but the aggression was sad 🥲
