that's how traditional apps work, but there must be a point where it's too much data for Amethyst? i don't know. it always happens.

This could be the case, but you're far, far better than me. I made the Android hello world app like 10 years ago and never did anything beyond that. Unless you count decompiling APKs and editing strings or images 😂
