What you denigrate as an idol I see as a holy sculpture. A picture is worth thousand words, a sculpture is worth a million. I do not expect your pea sized brain to appreciate the subtleties and symbolism in my holy sculptures (Murtis). And if your God and Bible insult my holy sculptures, talks about smashing them and says they are wrong then Fuck Your God and Fuck Your Bible.

Maybe you’re just venting but I feel like I should extend some Grace your way and clear some things up.
The Bible doesn’t insult your scriptures it just creates a separation between what you see as holy and what comes from the Creator. You were born with free will and have the choice to worship what you want. In fact, it’s nobody’s place to judge what you decide.
It’s like knowing Bitcoin is gonna be the Global reserve currency and putting all your money in ETH because you like Vitalik. You’re welcome to do what you want and it’s up to you to deal with the consequences of your choice.
I’m sorry that you’ve encountered people who’ve left you feeling judged and angry. I love Jesus with my entire heart and soul… because of that I’d never want you to leave a conversation feeling angry with him. He’s too precious to the world and I don’t believe he deserves any vitriol.
The Bible makes mention of all kinds of idols so you shouldn’t feel singled out or persecuted. Any noun can be an idol so 🫂💫 Feel free to read the Bible for yourself instead of listening to ignorant pseudo-pious humans.
