Great for them. If they also have tax free sells up to a threshold then the combination would amazing.

I live in Canada where it is all cap gains. As #bitcoin related technologies progress, it has become completely unacceptable.

What do you mean by “tax free sells”

Isn’t the whole point of saying no capital gains tax on 3+ years of holding equivalent to saying tax free sells after 3+ years of holding?

I’m talking about the scenario where someone doesn’t wait 3 years and wants to sell a portion. As an example, the government could allow $10,000 a year tax free.
