2 of 3 Multisig with a company having 1 signature seems so obvious but revolutionary at the same time. It addresses a primary concern of many Bitcoin skeptics I’ve talked to.
Simple recovery is critical. The anxiety of if something happens you could lose everything is a big reason more don’t self custody and so we’re spending a lot of time rethinking everything about how one owns and manages their keys. No seed phrases to remember and if you lose or damage your phone or hardware device or both, no problem.
As an investor, can you speak a bit about the margins? Will the hardware be a lower end margin product to get users into a higher end margin product like services?
Literally cannot wait to get my hands on one. I agree with your sentiment, and think it’s possibly the biggest drag on adoption rate. If secure self custody and simple recovery can become compatible it will be a game changer.
