The last great car to come out of Pontiac factories before GM corpokikes axed the brand during the '08 financial crisis. They're starting to go up in value now that they're becoming more sought after by collectors.

One of my uncles had a 1966 GTO. Beautiful car. In the time of the Old Americs, Pontiac didn't really deserve the reverse acronym "Poor Old Negro Thinks It's A Cadillac."
