yeah, i had it happen to me yesterday trying to zap someone at a bitcoin meetup for lunch at a restaurant, i am pretty sure both of our phones were online via mobile internet but tried twice and for whatever reason the WoS node refused to receive the payment

it's probably going to get worse over the next 10 years too with solar flares b0rking the internet all over the place too... still another 3-4 months of bad space weather likely coming our way before it should get better for a while.

the internet is gonna be fucked by that 10 year period probably. i have a feeling it is probably wise to consider getting sorted out with a local, cash based network in a nice place and having your own production for most of your basics

nothing to do with the banking system, or telcos either, this is a space weather problem, and nothing we can do about it.
