does anybody know why the snort interface on umbrel doesn't allow to send notes? to be fair, my bitcoin node isn't finished synching, but that shouldnt matter i'm sure....

Did it generate a private key for you? Nostr calls it an nsec. There probably would have been a prompt to write it down or store it safely.

i got a public key and a seed phrase, yeah.

but anytime i'm logged in to the umbrel.local and using the snort app, i can't send any messages. weird.

i think i figured it out. was not fully signed in with private key..
