All good, it’s how a conversation evolves. And this point is important regarding why many of us speak past each other. I often hear things like “progressives want free hand outs for everyone and support war in Ukraine” from my right leaning friends. I respond with “did you hear that from me?” And their response is nearly always “the NY Times or Rolling Stone or MSNBC said…” And that isn’t a coincidence. And when I talk with other progressives we almost always include nuance. Corporate media removes that.
