Replying to Avatar hodlbod

Now that I'm off twitter I have zero exposure to the news cycle. But I'd like just a tiny scoche. Any suggestions? I want something that's 1. brief and 2. balanced, but also real. I followed readtangle.com for a while but couldn't stand the rationalizations.

I have a few news sites that I sample to get different perspectives, including CNN, Fox, Al Jazeera, Gateway Pundit, BBC, LifeSite News, Breitbart, and National Catholic Register. I don't look at every one every day, but it is interesting to quickly compare a few.
