I’m open to considering any conspiracy theories, but…

the more a theory requires more people, orchestrated in secret, required to pull it off, the more skeptical I become

for example, I did a thought experiment with a friend… “how do you know that computer science actually works as believed?”

The problem is that it's to easy to imagine that things are more work than they really are. I've worked on a few things that from the outside and after the fact seem like they would have involved a lot of people, when in fact it was just a few of the right people doing something that they knew how to do and even then barely made it happen.

Imagine a project that needs a cutting edge front end programmer, a backend web programmer, an embedded programmer, a scalability and reliability engineer, a product manager, a marketer, a designer, QA, etc... imagine how hard it would be to make decisions and keep them under wraps! ... But for some unreproducible reason, this time there's a single person that can perform each of these roles.

Can it happen quietly? Well duh...

I’m generally inclined to agree, but then I think about the number of people required for the Manhattan Project and how they pulled off keeping that secret for so long, and then some theories seem a lot less outrageous.

hm... good possible counterpoint.

tho maybe different these days with the Internet and speed/availability of communication from/to everyone?

Tell me David. Do you go to church?

I did as a kid. don’t go any more

Maybe, but my understanding of how the Manhattan Project kept its secrecy was mainly through incentivization and compartmentalization. Basically everyone worked in small silos, unaware of what other groups were doing, and the risk/reward structure made keeping the secret an easy decision. Only a relatively small group had the whole picture and knew what they were really doing. From my perspective, the internet hasn’t made that strategy any less effective. If anything, it makes it easier to obfuscate with information overload.

God is a Celestial Creator and the bible speaks of Him as an intelligent being which created the Universe, Earth and Humans, thus He exists beyond our quantum time/reality and manifests assertively in human evolution when needed. Jesus becomes a martyr for the cause and becomes a celestial.

For me that's the biggest LEAK of all times. There are no conspiracies except that God is in control of everything.
