oooh you just picked up on a human fallacy that I learned about years and years ago in AI. Apparently humans have a problem with the following valid logic:
"A implies B does not imply that B implies A"
That sounds confusing put like that so it's better with an example:
"Dogs have tails"
"Ah so that animal with a tail must hence be a dog"
(no, it's a cat you fail to understand basic logic)
So if "rights are granted" one shouldn't even ask the question "are all things granted rights?" that's the human fallacy again. The one thing has nothing to do with the other.
BUT : good point nonetheless, just felt like pointing that out 🫥
