ya, there are tradeoffs of course. a phone has much more attack surface but in practical terms it can serve as a much more inconspicuous choice that is far less likely to be attacked, stolen or confiscated. and you can even do a multisig wallet on two offline phones if you had a need for that :)

ya, i mean a good setup could be: jade for home, set up bip85 child walkets, drop that into the offline phone and put some btc on that. that way you dont even need to write down the words, as long as you can get home to your jade eventually, you can recover whatever you put on the phone signer for travel.
