#nostrplebs #plebchain any car users out there who can help me out to know if this is realistic or overkill. What are some yearly things you personally do for your cars? I am completely ignorant about this subject and this feels like the most Gen z thing to ask ever but here we are. My partner has handled all of it but I kinda have more finances right now and I kinda want to get the ball rolling since they’re being caught up with working a lot. But I’d just like to have some opinions beforehand on what’s realistic.

I'm not much of a car guy myself, but here are some really easy things:

Change air filters

Change oil (I use a kit that sucks it in and out through the dipstick hole, quicker and less mess)

Other easy things I have done, but usually bribe my BIL to do:

Change oil filter

Change spark plugs

Check brake pads

And yeah that's the limit of my automotive skills!

Anyone else?

Okay thats a good start im definitely prepared to invest in this because weve learned the hard way about not listening to car problems and them getting worse. One car died and the other got hit by a tree. So I guess Im paranoid haha

My father used to drive a new car into the ground every four years. I guess he could afford it, but I can't! And a little preventative maintainence goes a long way.

Hit by a tree though, that was seriously unlucky!
