The worst thing of the public transportation in Toronto GTA are the weirdos that you find in the way.

I’m heading back home and there was this old guy, looking at me and speaking to himself, he had psychotic eyes and I think he’s just a schizophrenic but yet, you never know what might happen. I just pretended he wasn’t there and kept looking to the window of the bus that allowed me to know what was going on around me by its reflection on the glass just in case he tried anything.

Sad times in which you have to defend yourself all the time and think the worst of people.

Reminds me of LA. I took the metro for a few years and there were all sorts of weird and crazy people. Never know which day you’re going to get randomly stabbed. Luckily never got to that. Worst is people fighting outside and random shouting.

It’s the same here.

I also heard that there was a lot of crime downtown at night. You’d never know it during the day but people get stabbed and shot at night.

I used to feel like that all of the time on TTC, and that's speaking as a 6ft man. There's some serious mental health issues out there, and it can feel very unsettling unfortunately. 😔 I feel ya!

I used to finish work late an have to wait for the street car at Sherbourne & Carlton, honestly some days I'd just give up and grab a cab even though I couldn't; really afford it. It's kinda wild out there.

Should of stayed the night and left early in the morning. The crazy people mainly only come out at night. None of them can get outta bed past noon 😅

Same thing in Montreal too ! Downtown is full of creepy people at night. Stay safe !

I notice this less in smaller cities, for example in Quebec City.
