In a recent post on Truth Social, U.S. President Trump revealed that, according to what he described as a likely briefing from defense and intelligence officials, nearly 20,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine over the past month. He added that Russia’s total military losses since the beginning of 2025 now stand at approximately 112,500—significantly higher than prior estimates from NATO and U.S. sources. Trump also stated that Ukraine has lost around 8,000 soldiers this year, along with a devastating number of civilian casualties from ongoing Russian missile and rocket strikes on Kyiv and other cities.
