yeah, this is not exactly as old but the same basic hackery is enabling people to make your phone look like it's demanding a password via the fingerprint auth system and actually get your pin, happening to banking apps, so also don't ever enable fingerprint auth on anything that could lead to you losing your money sats or fiats

not anything really stopping nostr apps doing this either so i suggest put down the phone and step back slowly, this is not an exercise
