Someone help me:

If the idea is to get away from centralization, how is institutional buying/mining #bitcoin a good thing? No one really believes that "government" only includes actual members of government do they? Why do all the BTC fukbois (and -gurls) get all hot and bothered when there's evidence of whales swimming in the waters?

It is considered good only by newcomers who are not into privacy or decentralization stuff. There are a lot of newcomers due to rising Bitcoin popularity.

From what I've seen, some members of the cheerleading squad seem to use it as a basis for building hype. Maybe I'm misinterpreting the messages. Whenever I dig in to see though, I'm usually disappointed.
