I'm not a fan.

They are good for a while. If you shoot A LOT, you can and will wear the frame out unless they've changed how the slide interfaces with the frame from the M9 version that I'm familiar with.

Meeeeh. I screwed up. Disregard my previous post. I thought it was a Beretta... Duh.

Beretta is more expensive!

Yeah.

Bersa can make good stuff... But the variability is much worse than others, so I'm not sure I'd trust one to function reliably without significant testing.

I just the #Beretta 92 FS maybe you were talking about that one. That’s around $1,200 here. I think I would prefer #Glock

Yup. I just glanced at the photo and didn't look too closely. Shame on me for not reading.

I... Can't stand Glocks. The grip angle is dumb and even on the newer ones, the triggers are crap, especially compared to most good hammer fired pistols. I don't know what other brands are available in your market, but, Glocks are reliable and available, so, those are very good things if you want a reliable, easy to fix (usually) pistol.

Yeah, I read some people doesn’t like Glock. My main problem is money, actually I can’t afford it, but I never tested it, I just like what I saw on videos, and main pro is reliability and that’s very impressive in a critical moment.

You can see some guns available here:

Or here:

$1 is around 1,029 pesos

*very important

I looked around a little and saw mostly good things to say about that pistol. If you can't afford a Glock, then that may be a good option.

The biggest issue I have with it is that you still need to train for the DA/SA trigger. Once loaded abs properly decocked, the first trigger pull is going to be roughly 2x as heavy as the subsequent shots. If you've never experienced that before, it is disconcerting and you'll want to do a lot of dry-fire and live ammo two shot drills.

Ok thank you! I’m evaluating my options, sometimes I think a pistol is not something I really need (I have another priorities) but sometimes I think I really need it these days as a protection. I’ll see what I can do.

If you have the option, a shotgun or rifle is a notch better option for defense

Why?

Thank you! I’ll check it out

Awesome video! I’ve never thought about that.
