I follow any account that seems reasonably good but still have a dead or boring feed most of the time.
Follow more people, it helps.

Discoverability can and will get better. When I was on twitter it had all the discoverability features big tech could offer, but I couldn’t have an interaction like the one we’re having now.

I created a simple ranking algorithm that's better than a naive trust score which only accounts for popularity. The "friend score" tallies up the mutual follow relationships between your follows and people you don't follow.
