Not enough to be an expert. I think for genetic diseases, to be able to remove or replace genes, it has uses. But, with everything, it could be misued. Real furries anyone?

Hahahah fuuuck! Furries could be a real thing. But at that point you’re not a human anymore.

The thing is, even if you’re not an expert (me neither btw) you can probably see the trouble in who can afford to make such genetic modifications to an embryo.

For sure, would this tech be available to all or just the wealthy. The film Gattaca is an example of what could happen.

Never heard of it. Do you recommend?

Highly recommend it, a movie that predicts the future I think. I've used it in my Bio classes at times. Link to a free copy on Odysee or would be on a streaming service.

Great start.

Consider God's handiwork; who can straighten what He hath made crooked?

I not only think that we will tamper with Mother Nature, I think Mother wants us to.

"You want to know how I did it? This is how I did it, Anton: I never saved anything for the swim back,"

One of my favourite quotes from the film. It's also a story about the human spirit and willpower being more important than anything else. You write your story, nobody else.

It's a powerful film, I still will tear up even though I've seen it two dozen times. Glad you enjoyed it.

I did. Thanks for the recommendation.

Also. The medal at the ending🥈🏊‍♂️

Chills.

Wow, one if the best movies I have ever seen. It was spectacular.
