Update. The bogs are not quite frozen. Can confirm depth of Chip thigh high.

Thankfully everything froze immediately after exiting the bog - I booted out of the woods - about an 1hr out. When I started to thaw in the car I was glad to be almost home. 🥶

Cool. That type of stuff sucks to find out on accident. Wet can be death in the cold. Don't need me to tell you that.
